Our specific goal is to discuss GIS (Global Information Systems) and how we will use the Trimble GPS (Global Positioning Systems) to plot trees and other valuable plants in the landscape.. A demonstration of inputting data into the ArborScope program will show how the field data is formatted after collection and integrated into a web hosted program.
Outdoor class time will allow for a demonstration of the Trimble unit and the opportunity for hands on use. Tree Risk Assessment class held on September 23rd is a requirement for this class.
