Description

Westport Historical Society Presents: Ghosts, Werewolves & Zombies -- August 18- August 21

Dare to be Spooky: A Creative Writing Program, for ages 8-13.
Who doesn’t love a great ghost story? Now you have a chance to write your own, packed with all kinds of creatures and adventures.  We will explore Connecticut’s own ghost stories and through all kinds of fun writing prompts we will unleash your inner spooks, zombies and ghouls from your imagination.  By the end of our program you will be able to call yourself an official Connecticut ghost story author!  Plenty of drawing and drama will guarantee a ghoulishly, gratifying workshop, along with pizza and ice-cream Thursday.

Led by Christina Frei, a creative catalyst.  She is the author of 5 Rockstars of the American Revolution, which challenges readers to think creatively about the Founding Fathers and themselves. This creative effort got her on the Today Show, NBC News, and the History Channel where she shared her unique approach.  She also teaches children and adults to think outside the box in her comedy improv programs.
