DR. ANDREW BAZOS graduated from Harvard University with honors in biochemistry and molecular biology and followed with a medical degree from YaleUniversity School of Medicine. He completed general surgery and orthopedic residency training at the prestigious Columbia-Presbyterian New York Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. Bazos went on to a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. He founded Sports & Entertainment Physicians, PC and later became a founding member of OrthoCT.

Dr. Bazos has been a leading sports medicine orthopedic surgeon in Western Connecticut and NYC for over two decades. His specialties include minimally invasive arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery, as well as general and pediatric orthopedics. He treats not only professional athletes, but weekend warriors and non-athletes who need to return to function quickly in every occupation or activity.

In addition to offices in New Milford, Litchfield and Danbury, Dr. Bazos maintains a midtown Manhattan office to accommodate Connecticut-based patients who work in New York City, and New York patients who weekend or have moved to Connecticut. He is also the founder and managing director of CrowdRx, the largest event medical company in the United States, now part of Global Medical Response, Inc. At CrowdRx, Dr. Bazos serves as venue medical director for Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, and the US Tennis Open in addition to serving as the Tournament Physician for the NCAA Men’s Big East Basketball Tournament in NYC. He also leads the orthopedic and event medical coverage at Burning Man and other national music festivals.

Dr. Bazos is currently accepting patients by appointment in both of his practices and starting July 1 will be exclusive to Sports & Entertainment Physicians, PC. in his New Milford, Danbury, and NYC locations.
