The Fine Line Art Gallery will again host its annual fall show, Festival in Color, where original paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, photography, fused glass, prints, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and pottery will be on display – all by award-winning Connecticut artists.
The event will take place at the Fine Line Art Gallery, 319 Main Street South in Woodbury, November 8th through 10th, from 10a.m. to 4p.m. An Artists’ Reception will be held from 11a.m. to 4p.m. on Saturday, November 9th. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. Ample parking. Fine Line Art Gallery, a cooperative venture consisting of 15 artists, began presenting this exhibit over two decades ago as part of its ongoing effort to celebrate and encourage the work of regional artists.
Featured artist is Naugatuck resident Liz Monahan. Her style is a subtle blend of Realism and Impressionism, working in oil and pastels. She expresses her love of nature in her peaceful landscapes as well as in her captivating animal portraits. Liz’s goal is that the viewer feels a connection to her paintings.
William Christopher Brown has an affinity for nature and all it’s wonderful inhabitants. Chris’ art and teaching focus on spirit, honoring the inner world, and connectedness with nature, his love and joy of sculpting all nature’s creatures. Frogs, turtles, lizards, and any other animals that catch Chris’s attention are found in his work. His work includes sculpture, ceramics, and mosaics.
New to the show this year is Sandy Hook’s Donnalee Robinson creates jewelry a collection of jewelry that has a spiritual/ bohemian feel that is all original and hand crafted, using sterling silver, 14KT gold & rose gold filled, copper, gemstones, and crystals. Everyhing is made with love, gratitude, a bit of uniqueness and good vibes.
This show is the perfect place to find a unique holiday gift or a special piece of artwork.
Artists will be available to discuss their work, their media, and the creative process during the show.
