With as many ideas of “spirit” as there are women in our chorus, we have gathered hymns and spirituals, country and folk tunes, Broadway repertoire, music for meditation and music that inspires action. Open yourself to the possibilities, and join Another Octave for Feel the Spirit!

What makes you “feel the spirit”? Walking in the woods? Worshipping in community? Organizing to promote justice? Surrounding yourself with those you love?

With as many ideas of “spirit” as there are women in Another Octave, we have gathered hymns and spirituals, country and folk tunes, Broadway repertoire, music for meditation and music that inspires action. We’ll be singing the hit song from Frozen and the anthem of the 2017 Women’s March; George Harrison’s Here Comes the Sun and Ysaye Barnwell’s Breaths; Christian pop and a pagan homage to trees; pleas for peace from Israel and Kenya — and more.

Open yourself to the possibilities, and come Feel the Spirit!
