During Open Studio Weekend in Hartford, the Cetacean Society International (CSI) will present Rails to Whales: a collection of steam train photos, the work of award winning Connecticut photographer Kenneth H. Roberts. The presentation is a fundraiser for CSI to support its work with whales. The photos, donated to CSI by Robert’s family, will be available for sale with all proceeds going to the efforts of CSI.  CSI will also exhibit the work of Don Sineti, renowned folk singer, shantyman, marine mammal illustrator and whale advocate.

The exhibit will be located at Colt Gateway, 134 Sequassen Street at the corner of Huyshope Avenue, from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, November 9 & 10. Train enthusiasts and whale lovers both are encouraged to stop by to see this unique collection of art. The exhibit is dedicated to saving whales worldwide.
