As grocery stores struggle to keep their shelves stocked during the coronavirus pandemic, local farm stands are an increasingly appealing option to many. Not only does buying from them help preserve open space and local businesses, because you are buying from the source of your food, the number of hands that potentially touched it may be diminished (yes, these are the kind of things we think about these days). Below are just a tiny fraction of the many farms throughout the state currently offering their goods. You can find even more at the state Department of Agriculture’s directory of farm stands and farmers markets.
