Connecticut Magazine asked Litchfield Distillery to create a special cocktail for our 50th anniversary year:

"Cheers to 50 Years"

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces Litchfield Distillery maple bourbon

½ ounce Allspice Dram

½ ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed

1 teaspoon simple syrup

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Orange peel garnish

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into coupe glass. Lightly express the oil from the orange twist and place in glass. Garnish with an orange twist and a light sprinkle of nutmeg.
