About Leondires, Mark

DR. MARK LEONDIRES is the founder, medical director and partner in reproductive endocrinology at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMA of CT) and Gay Parents To Be®. He is board-certified in both obstetrics & gynecology, and reproductive endocrinology & infertility. Dr. Leondires set up his practice with one main focus in mind – to help each and every patient succeed in building the family they desire. He has been recognized nationally for his work in reproductive endocrinology, and speaks frequently to promote LGBTQ+ family building and advocacy.

His experience using assisted reproduction to become a father made him more empathetic towards patients. “It does take a village,” he notes. “There are many talented people who can help bring their dream to life.” He adds, “Women have a biological clock that ticks faster after the age of 35,” and he highly recommends that women who plan to have children later in life freeze their eggs. RMA of CT has a full range of services and providers to help individuals and couples become parents.
