About Kelly, Edward
Dr. Edward T. Kelly grew up in Manchester, CT and was drawn to dentistry by the impact it can have on patients’ lives. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and then earned his dental degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. He completed a 2 year residency in General Dentistry at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where he received the Hospitals’ E. Gerard Keen Award for Excellence in Oral Surgery and the Resident of the Year Award. He is now the Program Director for the General Practice Residency and Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Kelly maintains a practice in an outpatient setting at Saint Francis. It is a unique setting because the office houses both a resident practice as well as a private practice. Dr. Kelly’s role allows him to serve as a mentor for young dentists and provide care to a wide variety of patients and their needs. He specializes in seeing patients that are medically compromised, yet excels in all fields of dentistry.
